I was two years ahead of him in high at A.E. Beach High in Savannah, Georgia. He was a great ballhandler then. He was on the 1967 team that won the State championship.

Gator was my coach in high school, and was a great teacher. We had a lot of natural talent on our team, but there was NO ONE better at ball-handling. I wasn't one of the ones loaded with talent, but with what he taught and the way he coached, I wound up 10 times the player (and person) that I was when I walked on that court as a freshman.

I went to college with Gator at Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was our basketball star. He used to call me Little Sister. I don't know if he ever knew my real name.

I was doing a You Tube search and found this. Gator is a wonderful man and always puts on a great performance whether with stuff like this, during his basketball camps, celeb golf, etc. He treats everyone with respect. If you'd like to see him in person 4172501173
