We had to shoot 1 scene with 5 shots. Our project was Low-Key lighting with at least 3 camera movements. Jacob Hodgson was Camera DP, and James Seyer was Lighting DP. The credits at the end show Camera Operator, Gaffer, Grip and Actors. Michael Frankel was chosen as the director and also played the role of the doctor. Thanks to Kevin Bianchi and Tricia Garcia for the roles that they played as well.

  • im trying to recreate the 1st scene from godfather. Any suggestions? I just seems like on some parts thy only used a key light

  • @GoodtoolsGoodcrops Watching now.. I would use a key and a dolly on the first part. Working with you f/stops. Maybe a snoot. Also those china balls work good as well, if you don't have silks and whatnot. I'm assuming each person in the scene has some sort of light. Hair light or slight rim light. Also play with you white balance or use gels. The last part they guys are lite well.. maybe use a bounce board to fill in the shadows slightly. Hope that helps..

  • Very nice work. That is "UncleFesterius" as the doctor, right?
