@comicpilot Being a pilot is much easier than people think. Much easier....
-
@starscream6000 oh it has a controller and everything.
-
I still have this simulator :D Good times man, good times!
-
i think FSX is better than this...

@bravobravo74 Amen! Flightsims are a good resource to beginning fight training or with certain programs like PMDG are good for getting your head into FMS operation, etc. But they in no way REPLACE real world flight training on any real level. I love these 13 year old armchair pilots.... yawn....go back to middle school..

I stared fly with the book that is completly great. its amasing how someone can fly an airplane with this program. I bougth in delaware 11 years ago and someone stole it from me.

@kris1991 Being branded a loser by someone who spends all of their time playing on flight sim seems highly ironic. You're delusional if you think that you could operate a 737 with no formal training; one of the reasons that commercially-available flight sims are often frowned upon by real pilots is because they make idiots like you think that they know it all when they clearly don't. Your comment looks as though it's been written by a spiteful child.

@bravobravo74 i have alot experience with 737 in flight sim i bet i could fly one in real life u loser

@JSAirways I'm sorry but having 1400 virtual hours counts for very little. Unless you've had real-world experience you couldn't fly a real plane. Enjoy flight simulations but just appreciate that they are games, not instructional tools.
how do you play this game anyay?

@starscream6000 Do you have this game/simulator? Many of the flight controls can be accessed through the computer keyboard. There is a help menu in the software that should allow you to see which keys control what to fly the airplane. Also, you may be able to use a flight stick to better control the aircraft. Pretty challenging even for a simulator this old.

@illstandbyyou You know, the funny thing is that I sucked at this simulator, too, but that was the very reason I liked it so much when I first got it...I enjoyed the challenge.

wow! this was my very first flight sim and i never managed to land proberly, cause I didn't have a joystick... next sim was fs2002. That's where the jystick came and I started getting serious with flight sims. And hen, after about 800 virtual flight hours logged, I switched to fsx and logged an aditional 600 hours. And that's where I'm at now. I know pretty much everything there is to know, about how to fly a plane and i can do perfect landings... all thanks to this sim, which got me started...

It was pretty much the same for me. My very first flight sim was on a desktop computer in 1989 at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's Airway Science program and I've been hooked ever since.
