What a refreshing change it is to hear a famous actor speaking in favor of our vets and displaying a conservativism that is lacking from the bulk of Hollywood's celebrities. So many actors these days are left wing weirdos with no concept of what they support. Thanks John Voight for your courage to be a conservative in today's radical left Hollywood.

Thank you so much, John Voight, for the very moving and powerful speech we see here. It is to our national disgrace that we allowed the hippie culture of the 60s to denigrate our veterans at that time. Today, the mood against the military is just as strong. Only this time, the leftists don't dare pull a lot of the crap they did back then because this time, they will be called on what they do.

John, I truly enjoyed watching and listening to this wonderful speech. You are a man after my own heart. I just had to say thank you for caring like you do. I hope you get to hear this song I wrote for our troops....I honor them tremendously.....and my humble thanks for their sacrifices.

Many of us came from the left, and have spent years working for a safer and more balanced country. McCain is country first, not a grandstander looking to destroy our freedoms, which is what comes from the extreme left.

John Voight is a great actor, & he is being brave to standup for what's right. hollywood will probably blacklist him. yet here he is giving a moving & well thought out speech, meanwhile people like matt damon who can hardly string a sentence togather can go on t.v. & rant about Gov. Palin & some crazy B.S. about dinosaurs roaming around 4,000 years ago or whatever & hollywood loves him. just shows you how brain damaged most hollywood actors are.
