Gmod - Podracer - Taehl

So, I host a server in GGC Buildmap v3, expecting there to be a glorious 3-player podrace. Turns out, I'm the only one skilled, brave, and persistant enough to make one.

It's made out of combine parts, and the engines and pod aren't welded together. It also controls like a floating vehicle: is has zero traction :D

i liked the fact that you didn't use the weld tool, and that the 2 pods just pulled you a long.

The trick was to get the pods to mostly stay together but still be free to move. I ended up using several fixed-length ropes in a rotated, flattened triangle formation. That kept them mostly forward, but allowed a good amount of freedom. And the cockpit was, of course, attached by ropes.
