  • isnt it just hypocritcal, how the USA makes "working ladies" illegal, yet allows soldiers to visit working ladies from abroad. let's face it, USA is full of feminism bullshit. not to mention absurd divorce laws...haha

  • @boxinboxout1 It will never happen now, their is no security, and US Navy is all about security.was last there in Oct.2011,Many civilian businesses their now.at best they may be able to get liberty but nothing more.

  • i deploy there in 90 - 91 we lost teh GUNNY THERE ONE NIGHT ,, AHHH MEMORIES

  • Subic Bay-1965-Seahorse Bar- CVA_62. Great memories.

  • @boxinboxout1 are you sure?

  • i was in subic bay in 1966 aboard the uss yorktown cvs 10.

  • i was there i was on the uss okinawa but right before this i was on the blue ridge

  • Us Senators and Philippines Admin. are working to ReOpen the Subic Bay and Clark Air Base 2011-2012

  • I was there for that final Subic Bay port visit. It was the end of an era. No place on earth is like Olongapo, and for those of us on USS Independence (and USS Midway before that,) Subic Bay was our home away from home. We were sad to be leaving for the last time, but knowing the base would be completely looted in no time flat we grabbed everything we could carry and transported it back to Japan - sail boats, go carts...

  • I was stationed at Subic then, and remember going to one of the on base open air bars the last night y'all were there. Hard to believe it was almost 20 years ago-----and that I'm still in the Navy. Thanks for posting the video.
