Two TAMs that I sadly will be listing on ebay UK this weekend.

TAM 1 (on right) has a 500Mhz
(edit: my bad, the Sonnet card is 400Mhz, not 500Mhz) Sonnet G3 card fitted, 128MB RAM, 12GB HDD, running OS9.2.2 and is in lovely condition, complete with subwoofer and original keyboard. Has USB, firewire and ethernet cards installed. Has a lovely bright and sharp display with no dead pixels.

TAM 2 (on left) is less complete and sold as a spares/back-up machine for TAM 1 in the event that something eventually dies. Has stock CPU, 128MB RAM, 6GB HDD and OS9.1 installed. 1 dead pixel on screen, few scuffs on body. Otherwise fully operational.

A shame to be parting with them but I don't have the space to keep them :'-(

  • Sadly, yes, these are long gone. Breaks my heart...

  • G3 500 mhz? I suppose that could actually run Tiger! I run tiger on a G3 400 mhz :p but... how much ram can it handle?

  • @bwillwall Nope, can't run OSX on a TAM, some kind of firmware conflict. Can only officially go to OS 9.1, but can accept 9.2 with a little jiggery pokery. RAM is maxed out at 128MB. They're almost useless as computers in this day and age, web surfing is horrible on them, but they make great music centres and they look beautiful. In the future when I have the space to start filling out my collection again, a TAM is top of the list! :-D

  • I have sold it a while ago. Sorry.

  • @Graagzelfs01 How much? what about int’l shipping?

  • Does it have adb?

  • I still have one for sale. Sonnet G3 400 mhz, USB, seperate firewirecard 128MB memory 40GB harddrive, lots of accessories, the works. Drop me a line if you are interested.

  • Hey, what usb/fire wire card were you using?

I ordered an Orangelink with the opti chip on it and it worked a couple times with the pci bridge patch and then it crashed my drive so I put my usb only card back in.

Too bad you got rid of them, I think these will be highly sought after some day.

I have a new Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh Website up go to 20thanniversarymac and use com
