I don't try and think about what happens next. I wave one last time and go up up up. With every foot higher, I try to keep my mind off what I'm doing. I don't feel great. It's hard to focus. I look out and around. The view is amazing. I seem an awefully long way up though. Erk. Do I really want to do this? My stomach isn't so sure. My head isn't so sure.
I step off.
The rope will catch me; they said so, right?
Right?
