Jarbidge Grazing

A visit to the BLM's Jarbidge Field Office in Idaho where cattle are grazing in the spring when soils and vegetation are very wet and vulnerable to severe impacts of trampling. There were a number of the red and white containers with some sort of molasses slurry as well as evidence of hay feeding. Jets using the nearby Sailor Creek Bombing range were also flying overhead.

I grew up on a ranch here in Idaho and plan to go back to it after I graduate college, and I'd like to know what you want to do with the public lands. Would you rather see it burn and every year and kill ever snake, rabbit and ground owl? Have you ever even a cow, or do you think the hamburger and steak you buy comes from the store and not an animal? Some people have to work for it, and I plan to keep working for it until you idiots with powerful checkbooks sue me out of business.

This is infuriating. This is the utter devastation of our public lands in order to cater to the public lands livestock monopoly. This is absolutely unacceptable and must be changed NOW!
