Boy Inspires Kids - Kids Inspire Us All (Amazing Finish)

Matt has Spastic Cerebral Palsy, but opted to run in Field Day at Colonial Hills Elementary School despite being given the option to sit it out and despite the incredible challenge of his disability. What transpires is a boy who is filled with determination and a school of children who spontaneously come together and inspire Matt and everyone of us to do and be better.

Let's be perfectly honest... Matt has every reason to not participate, to sit on the side lines, to be another kid who's illness prevents him from being who he wants to be. Let's not thank the "lord" here; instead thank amazing parenting AND a great bunch of kids who seem to see no difference between skin color, illness or physical ability. This is a video about Matt, an incredible kid who will do great things in this world AND to a community that allows for such courage to flourish. Amazing!

people point to this new generation of kids who have iphones and the Internet at a young age and say "pshhh, kids these days." Well, look! Kids these days! They can be wonderful, inspiring, exceptional, considerate, and beautiful! Look at this, it makes you realize what the world needs more of and what we should be grateful for. Amidst so much hate and sadness in the world, we have this! They are the future. Matt and all those kids cheering him are my superheroes.

I just shed a few tears! Wow! That kid is my Hero! What an absolutely amazing human being and what a powerful example to ALL of us! What heart!

Now that is what I call "Heart" right there! God Bless that little guy for his determination, for his strength, for his will, and for his drive to overcome all odds!
