Good to see more VK hams on Youtube. And don't worry, I'm doing my best to put my share of Amateur Radio videos up on Youtube as well -- all done with my tiny Flip MINO pocket videocam. (I don't even touch my bigger video cameras any more!) 73 de David, VK2DMH, Sydney AU.

Hi Andy - yes 50.110 is the international DX calling freq, but 50.200 is definitely the Australian 6m calling frequency. At least according to my WIA bandplan :-)

G'day VK5VXO, I have a 706MKIIG and I love it for all bands. It's my main rig HF-6m. My only wish is that the noise blanker worked better as I live with severe power line leaks.

2:26 is an illustration of what happens when QSO's continue on the calling freq HI. Maybe QSY next time. I'm sure the station calling CQ can hear you - he's just pressing the point ;-) 73's.
