Twilight Rants v.10: Imprinting

Kris tries to pick apart and determine exactly what kind of imprinting was implied when it comes to the infamous scene in "Breaking Dawn" between Jacob and Nessie. Friendship? Lovers? Pedophilia potential? What exactly was going on??

Warning: Actual educational value of explaining the types of imprinting may come your way. (Scary, huh?) but I decided to give you all a nice treat in the end.

Imprinting info was originally found on the IMDB website but it has been taken off for quite some time. So to make it short, Imprinting is technically to Procreate!

This is basically one person's own take on the issue after doing a bit of research. However I'm open to all points of views and debates. And please, withhold the "You're wrong! You suck! It's not like that! Over-analyzer! Twilight Rules! You're not reading it right!" crap without giving points of views that could back you up from the book as well as quotes. Your comment will be deleted. Or if it's really necessary, the necessary negative ratings will come your way.

Well, like a lot of antis have noticed, Meyer has broke all the rules not only about vampires but in biology. Especially with the extra chromosome part.

Twilight imprinting is for reproduction. Meyer herself has said this in interviews.

Reproduction is to make babies. To make babies, a man and woman must have sex.

Jacob is grooming Nessie for a eventual sexual relationship. He is playing her father/brother/friend while fully believeing that one day he will reproduce with her. Bringing us back to the must have sex to make babies.

This is child grooming.

To answer that question, yes I'm going to cover Stephen King's comment about Meyer but it's not going to be in my next rant. Next rant is going to be regarding what happened in Breaking Dawn. And that's as far as I'm going to go on that one.

When Bella's parents were giving birth to Bella in the hospital, maybe Edward broke into the hospital and imprinted on HER. It's a far-fetched theory and the books don't actually say that vampires can imprint, but their relationship is based on lust at first sight, so it's possible.
