Hitler visits Finland in 1942. This is the only known private voice recording of Adolf Hitler.

  • was his voice really this deep?

  • @iLikechevelle He sure did. Keep in mind this is only his talking voice, the voice he gave speeches with mesmerized millions.

His voice here is much deeper than Ganz's and the way he speaks in the radio speeches,..which leads me to believe that the radio recordings were off-speed as many old recordings were known to be. Since Hitler was considered such a charismatic orator, this deeper voice makes more sense.

  • "Rule 1, Page1, on The Book of War reads: Do Not March on Moscow"

"Rule 2: Do not go fighting with your land armies in China"

It is no surprise to me however, with the little research out of curiosity that I have done on Hitler, that more books have been written about him than any other man in history,"

    NO SURPRISE AT ALL.

  • It's well known now that Hitler's fiery oratory personality was carefully sculpted.

  • Heh, wow. When even Hitler thinks you're crazy, then you must be crazy! What's up with the whole "Finnland is a moral threat to us"? Crazy Soviets!

  • I still find the show talking about the propaganda of hitlers image, very PROFOUND

  • wow, he was a calm guy! This image of the furious crazy speaker is tottally innacurate

  • Just to mention: this was recorded at Mannerheim's 75th birthday celebration and the conversation took place in a train (which was obviously not moving). It was secretly recorded by a radio reporter, but when Hitler's people noticed the recording, it was stopped.

Also, one has to remind that Mannerheim spoke Finnish, Swedish, Russia, Polish, Mandarin-Chinese, German, English and Latin.

  • @imawesome432 nope, he isn't.

  • Is it just the German language, or is he stammering a lot?
