i was in mendocino village all last year playing guitar/selling hemp necklaces on the sidewalks. it looks like keywest is a lot like mendocino!! i met a lot of ppl that lived in keywest in mendo, and they all told me that they are like sister towns

In response to Clemburke I honestly like living in the keys better than hawaii. It's very difficult to live in hawaii and it sucks to order things. I also like the idea of not haveing to take a plane just to get to america. I live in Islamorada near Robbies and I friggin love it.

I heard about this on the radio today (Dennis & Judy) and I knew that I had to take a look. Well done! This is a trip that I have ALWAYS wanted to take; Biscayne Bay down A-1A.
Thanks for fueling my dreams from the Swamps of Jersey to the Florida Keys.

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you liked it. Dennis & Judy had a good time teasing me about the trip :) I turned the radio back on three hours later when I went to lunch and they mentioned it again (although did not mention the YouTube channel so I wasn't sure if anyone would check it out). You should definitely take the trip...it is worth it!

The Keys are great. I've probably been there about 10-13 times between 2002-2006. Being an avid birder, there are a few birds that are found there and nowhere else in the United States. I saw a vagrant Western Spindalis (hence the name) a tropical tanager from the Caribbean on Windley Key in early 2004.

wow, that's pretty cool! I guess you've been to the bird sanctuary then. I give that women a lot of credit for dedicating her life to taking care of the injured birds.
