I saw the Pretenders in '83 in Toronto, they were a tight band by that time, incredible! Chrissie you really rock and do rule. If I could sing, I would choose your voice. I'm a female by the way, even though my name doesn't show it. ROCK ON!

I drove 10 hours to see them at Mershem(sp?) auditorium on the Ohio State campus back in 1982 or so. Awesome show with the orginal lineup. This was the last song they played that night. Almost to the nearby college bar area, had to wait for the traffic, hundreds of us stepped off the curb at the same time and this murmur went through the crowd..."I like the way you cross the street..."
