You can see how Seiko SBQJ015 movement show settings of its perpetual calendar. Since you pull out crown to first click, and push it back in to normal position within a second, second hand starts to move in five seconds intervals. Every five second interval represent one year that has passed since the last leap year. Then the current month is shown in the calendar frame for 5 seconds (January is represented by 1)

Later you can see how hour hand and date is set-up in crown in first click.

Finaly you can see how minute and GMT hands are set-up by crown in second slick.
