@mrbobbyh Sad the teacher did that to be a jerk, but that's a fun story to have! I wanted to bring a pocket TV to school so I could watch the billionth rerun of the Flintstones like on The Jetsons!

My father had a Zenith portable radio like that, and it was maroon, which i bet this one is also. My mother had a similar-sized portable of a different design, and it was turquoise. Very '50s colors in plastic.

Earbuds go way back. I think those crystal radio kits had them.
