5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday 2007 - Manicure Lake - Day 2

It's the second day into my two week carp fishing fest' and I start late... well, I am on holiday. The weather is Hot but I manage to find a quite shady spot down an already crowded carp lake. After yesterdays failure I am even more determined and tuned in to catching a carp despite the cacophony of my fellow carp anglers and their assorted bite alarms ect. Once the noise dies down I find a shady little corner where the carp have let down there guard. I might be about to get my first holiday carp.

i love fishing!!!!!! at the lake that i go to, i catch a lot of bass, so a jersey rig is amazing for it!!!!!

dam i love commons that size, i just cant seem to get them, i hit mirrors all the time even on lakes where commons are in equal numbers, my mates hit commons upto 25lb often and mine are always mirrors, i dont know if im on my own but id swap 5 20lb mirrors for 1 20lb common. lovely fish mate and as always great videos :o)

Liners are the little annoying things in life which let you know carp are pretty much on your rig and bait and not picking it up, i reckon sometimes they turn and wack ur line with their fins n things just to wind you up lol, a liner is simply carp mooching through the bottom weed and things and moving your line which means you get indications on your alarms when the line is moving as the carp etc are hitting into it as they feed.
