This movie was released in 1984, and I was 16 years at the time. My school teacher took us to the cinema to see this film, and I to this day thank my teacher for showing Me this film, It is regarded as one of the 100 best films ever made. I like classic music today and it´s thanks to my teacher that I LOVE Mozart and this film especially... THANK YOU... Michael Andersen..The best teacher :-)

Funny that anyone could hate anyone who they never knew. You might hate Mozart if you knew him personally, but you don't. Just appreciate the music and the acting in this movie. Whatever other roles they played, this was an all around great movie or none of us would be commenting on it. Don't hate... appreciate!! :)

@ebuz218 All I ever wanted was to sing to God. He gave me that longing. And then made me mute.

@DarthMau035
I will ask how the tune is named. I only know that the author is W. A. Mozart and not Salieri :-)
