This video will show you how to prepare your project to be mixed and edited in a completely different DAW. Let's say you record at home with Nuendo/Cubase but want to send it to a pro studio to be mixed, and they are using Pro Tools. THIS IS HOW TO DO IT--it's the EASIEST and pretty much the only way....

  • were can i get Nuendo and is it 4 pc

  • @willxxxlife

You can buy it anywhere DAW software is sold. I prefer to buy from Sweetwater, Vintage King, or Mercenary Audio. One of those is bound to have Nuendo 5, the newest version. It's a very expensive program, but I LOVE it, and I consider it a great investment. Cubase 5 is great as well. It's for PC and Mac.

Good tutorial but i have a question, can i do this with Nuendo 3 ???

  • @jamilboricua

    Yes!

  • thought i'd comment, I dont use nuendo but have some friends who were going through this exact situation. It was going to be a pain in the ass to explain over the phone or via email. No longer my friend, I just sent them a link to your page and it should be golden. thanks for the informative video.

This is EXACTLY why I made the video! I knew someone like you would have a situation like that. So glad I could help. Keep doing your thing!

  • very informative and useful.thank you

  • Bro, this is awesome...running into trouble with this very situation and this helps tremendously.

  • Whoops... I was meaning to ask if you would provide feedback as to is it worth the heartache and headache to switch to Nuendo? I really have no interest in external plugins and I have used Rewire in the past between ProTools and Reasons and really did not like it. So far all the feedback has been, it's the person that uses the software to get quality sound/music as so many of the DAWs have similar features. Just a YT response would be fine. No video necessary. Just curious of your experience.

  • Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I have a slightly different question on topic, but slightly off topic. I just visited a studio & the engineer swears by Nuendo. So far, the videos show that the features are more advanced than what I need. I typically do not use VSTs & these days I really do not do work for other folk. I use Record and swear by it for novices like myself. I started with ProTools LE & view Nuendo as the hi-end post production software. If u have time, could you compare Nue 2 Rec?

  • @nasir7000 FL Studio's visual parametric eq is very helpful for this... to make sure every sound is only hitting it's intended frequency with minimal bleen onto others. I generally don't like visual guides in the studio but I've found it very helpful. Also a lot of playing around with just your panning options.

  • i believe in cubase 5 u have the option of exporting in individual tracks so u dnt have to do noting but set up ur in and out markers and export

  • When i try import my files from nuendo to logic after completing this process the files still all go to the start. How do i export these files correctly from nuendo.
