Old Summer (original song)

Well... It's been a hell of a summer.

The video footage from the same beach trip with Hobbes that was featured in my "Little Song" video. Hobbes passed away this summer, at the age of 14.

I hope you all will forgive my extended absence from YouTube, the loss of Hobbes, in addition to going back to school (a whole different source of stress), has made playing music a distant contender for the use of my time and energy.

When I have had a moment of quiet, in both my life and in my mind, I've been trying some different things musically. I haven't been working on my voice, so it's a little more raw and unpredictable. I've tried to harness that into a more emotional, natural style of music.

Or maybe I'm just spinning my wheels.
