I'm training my canary to sing I'm playing him this and he's making trilly noises. He's young yet though. He hasn't had his first moult yet. We are hoping it's a boy, anyway.

@MKDDREAMSTAH Just play this song around him 2 to 3 times a day and he'll be singing just like this soon! my canaries have been listening to this for a day, and have already been singing better than the video itself!

@MKDDREAMSTAH ...You could start by getting him a female,hell sing to attract the opposite sex,or,you could play him some canary tunes like this regularly,hell start to mimic them until hes able to sing them himself,but,if youve just bought him,then dont expect him to sing,yet. :)

I have a canary we just recently bought. We have let him out of the cage once or twice and he has seemed to hurt his little leg. He moves around the cage ok and is feeding bathing and singing regularly but once inwhile he will stand on one leg... Any advice? should i take it to the vet? This happened about a week ago....

@MultiPurplebitch ,no just clean it regulary and let him ,he will be fine ,also clean well his cage to avoid any infection through his hurted leg .change to it every day his water and you have to buy him a big vage if you have small cage or made it your self ,wish i could help you
