@RudeAwakning - You also conveniently avoided defining the location of the International Dateline, an essential fact that is needed to define the day “Friday” that you mentioned in your supposedly enlightening response. You also failed to provide evidence why you claim that Friday is The Sabbath. This would require reference to the symbolic meanings of the days of the Seven Day Week. Are you aware of this profound symbolism?

@CivilizedMan444 The Sabbath is sundown Friday evening till sundown Saturday evening! Where you live is not important! God knows the sundown in California is not the same hour as sundown in Jerusalem.

... You equate the Day of Rest with the Day of Worship. They are different. On Saturday, a fatigued and sleepy laborer resting after working hard on the previous five days, Monday through Friday, would be in no mood for worshipping any invisible spirit. But he would be the morning after when he was well refreshed and a new week had begun.
... You still have not located God's immutable International Dateline. Like all the rabbis, muhlahs, and Infallible popes, you make no commitment.

... You didn't define the word "Sabbath", Hal. Was that a mistaken ommision? The definition of the Sabbath requires the location of God's International Dateline, the line that separates Saturday from Sunday by one inch somwwhere on earth. Of what use are all your authoritarian declarations if you don't inform people where this divine line of demarkation is? Everyone standing west of this line on Sunday would need to step over this line to worship on God's Saturday. So where is it?
