@Ecologicalification It is like books, the most expensive doesnt mean the best

I can't believe that plain piece of crap "Number 19" by Mark Rothko sold for $72.8 million. So ridiculous. Surely even an amateur artist could pain just as well, and there absolutely no depth of expression of purpose to it what-so-ever.
I've always said that if ever I want to become a millionaire I would crap on a blank canvas and sell it for $60 million. (Sadly about hald a year ago someone in Europe stole my idea, and actually made a famous painting using feces).

Art annoys me so much,,, i feel like a lot of these r just average paintings that any trained artist can do.....Look at the last one for example...its just a bunch of different color lines all thrown together for 140million!...i simply do not understand....if i did that ppl would laugh at me and give me 3 bucks for it, lets be real here
PS: That picture of "Massacre of the Innocents" by Peter Paul Rubens is not corrent. Rubens painted two versions, neither of which are the one shown.

@MaireMc
Np. I enjoyed the video btw. One just knows they're going to run into a trivia question one day asking: "what is the most expensive painting ever sold?" Thanks for posting.
