Anti Depressant Withdrawal - Days 6-9

An update of how things are going at the one week mark of stopping my anti-depressant medication. Some somewhat siginificant alterations in mood/health.

Hey man im really scared, im on day 7 of withdrawling from Lexapro the only side effects im having are brain zaps and confusion i want this to go away, HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST!!!! i do not want to go on the lexapro ever again or any other SSRI for that matter!!!

@MrNateMedeiros You'll be relieved to know that they stop pretty quickly from this point onwards. I found in total it was about two weeks for my body to be rid of the withdrawal effects so if you're halfway through, don't give up. It gets a lot better after about day 9-10. It's now 10 months since I posted this and I haven't had any need to go back onto the meds and am living a much happier life than I was on them.

Hey dude, I'm 19 years old been on citalopram for 2 and half years 20mg and been off them for a full week and a half and feel pretty nauseated and shaky, and also my head like zaps all the time when im walking and looking around, feels pretty bad, but I'm guna make sure I do this :)

@melpa04 Hey man, make sure you take lots of care of yourself while going off these. It took me about 2 weeks to get over the worst of the symptoms and another week or two to be completely rid of them, but believe me, it's been worth it. Been about 4 months since these videos and I feel a whole lot better!

why is there no actual research on why they cause sexual ejaculation delay? I kind of get the feeling that they delay ejaculation but also numb and 'delay' intrusive thoughts. so it;s a positive in many ways.

I'm in England and been coshed with 18 different psychotropic medications. Currently having daily seizures on Zoloft withdrawal and am hoping to have full brain scans on Friday.
