  • "I reserve maximum freedom to be maximally offensive."

    Nice!

  • ezra levant strikes me as an arrogant windbag. i doubt i would get along with him on a personal level. i am certain he would rub me the wrong way.

that said, he is a true canadian hero, deserving of every canadian's respect. if you are a true canadian, you owe a debt of gratitude (at the very least) to this man. he may be fighting for his own personal freedom here, but by doing so, he is also fighting for YOUR freedom.

    big time respect, mr. levant.

  • Also Islam, you got here second. Learn to adapt to the culture. If a Canadian woman when to Saudia Arabia in a bikini she would be beaten and raped by police officers.

  • It is trully depressing that some people who watch this, after listening to his arguments and living in a first world country that lauds itself constantly for the freedoms granted to its people can believe that this man is wrong to express his opinion, simply because it relates to a dangerous or at least very touchy group of individuals who through whatever means, have scared the government to the point of investigating anyone who dares to oppose what they believe.

  • @cummerdog69 ......As a fellow American... I have to say BARF.

  • Is this a joke? Is this real? I just saw this looking for closing arguments for my case. If this is really going on in Canada their political system and court system is a total joke! I thought they were a free country. This is why I and my fellow Americans think our country is the best - because we are.

  • I am a Muslim and it doesn't bother me that Ezra published these cartoons. He is entitled to his opinion. He doesn't understand Islam. We Muslims could have organized a debate with him so we can explain to him who the blessed Prophet Muhammed is.

When the Muslims in Mecca were oppressed and ridiculed by the pagans, they were ordered by the Prophet Muhammed to migrate to the Christian kingdom of Abyssinia (now Ethiopia) so they can live in peace because the Christian king was just and fair.

  • @ranchgoddess True, You can't offend Islam, because they are a minority group and they will hurt you or be "offended" Christians are offended everyday and it is no big deal. If a publisher published cartoons depicting Jesus in some provocative way, then Christians wouldn't like it, but they would not make a huge problem out of it and just let it go. It is sad how freedom of speech is being eroded. I think Ezra did nothing wrong by publishing these cartoons.

  • If it comes down to "You can't offend a certain group" because they will KILL you, or they have more power than others, or more radical power, then we have all lost!! Christians are offended every day. Atheists are offended every day. Jews are offended every day. But we need to be careful not to offend Islam because they are crazy and will kill everyone??

Does anyone see anything wrong with that picture?? I'm tired of cowing down to people because they are crazy and might go off on me...

  • He is a badass.

    Come to the US please....
