1: What are criminals good at? Breaking laws, and what do you think they'll do? Break the law, ever heard of the Black Market.

In Australia and most other countries where gun rights are much more heavily regulated, there are virtually no deaths from shooting, accidental or unintended, compared to the US. I agree but when mentally impaired people can so easily obtain guns due to their rampant availability including criminals with no record and other such extreme circumstances, the danger to the populace is generally increased. Like drugs, a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.
