I know what you mean when you are talking about unrealistic expectations. I lived in Burbank for about a year. Most of the guys I met why I lived there had started to become disillusioned with Hollywood, and had more emotional baggage then Paris Hilton on her way to jail. As for San Jose we do not have a great gay scene and Im just not a bar person.

Dating and indigestion are so similar, so that analogy is spot on. But seriously, in terms of the questions, I don't know. Not sure what it's like in your neck of the woods, but Los Angeles is filled with a large number of men with screwy and/or unrealistic expectations and demands. It's a wonder ANYONE pairs up in this county, I tell ya.
