@nathitalinda your right! except when he hit his wife Aisha "Why is it, O 'Aisha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him . He said: Was it the darkness that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you"

@cherri400 The Prophet Mohammad never put his hands on anyone.

The qurqn is a must read!
But the Hadithes explain the actions and deeds of maddammed. Why depend on a video to interpret the meaning of 'beat' when you can look up this information yourself.
In addition: I would recommend, researching the beatings in action; some by clerics and mullahs... The internet provide the language that teaches the truth islam... rather than the so-called religion of Peace!
-
A simple guide to wifw beating in islam!!!!
Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the head of Al-Azhar, Sunni Islam's most prestigious institution says that "light beatings" and "punching" are part of a program to "reform the wife"
Who would you believe? Who is the Liar?
Is Maddammed the 'Most perfect Man,' whom delivered the 'Perfect Religion?'
-
What would a Sheikh say on the matter!
Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradhawi, one of the most respected Muslim clerics in the world, said that "It is forbidden to beat the woman, unless it is necessary."
He also went on to say that "one may beat only to safeguard Islamic behavior," leaving no doubt that wife-beating is a matter of religious sanction.
Did the pious gentlemen interpret 'beat' wrong!!!!
-
How would you change this interpreation...
Abu Dawud (2126) - "A man from the Ansar called Basrah said: 'I married a virgin woman in her veil. When I entered upon her, I found her pregnant. (I mentioned this to the Prophet).' The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: 'She will get the dower, for you made her vagina lawful for you. The child will be your slave. When she has begotten (a child), flog her'"
Was maddammed a corrupted man!!!

Why does it take 5:15mins to interpret away beat!
If one is unsure, look at maddammad actions: Aisha told us maddammed thumped her in her chest until it pained her (some say; and turned green.
Muslim 4:2127- Aisha siad, "He struck me on the chest which caused me pain."
Muslim 9:3506- Muhammad's father-in-laws amused him by slapping his wives Aisha and Hafsa for annoying them. Madammad laughed upon hearing this.
Abu Dawud 2142- " Maddy said: A man will not be asked why he beat his wife."
-
Does the Quran allow wife abuse? YES!
Qur'an 38:44 - "And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath..." Allah speaks to Job. (not in the bible)
Bukhari 72:715 - "Aisha said, 'I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women'"
Muslim 4:2127 - Muhammad struck his favorite wife, Aisha, in the chest one evening when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, "He struck me on the chest which caused me pain."

you just condemned mohammad & all the early faithful imams of islam! ...good for you to try to come up with a strong reason why islam cannot be of God, for if mohammad was not a muslim (by your definition), then no one should be a muslim after mohammad's standard of sunna!
muslims are translating the quran in a way to suit western people. It is deception. And this deception will not last long because westerns and especially muslims will find those preachers liars; which give a bad image & harsh way to preach islam. There are many people that know Arabic and English. In that passage, it says [beat them] the word [slight] is mentioned in two brackets. It means the word [slight] is not in the quran. There is a big difference between beat them and beat them slightly.

Moliando, it seems that my arguments are hitting deaf ears. Have u even seen the whole video ?
When it comes to the word "lightly" u should read my answer to "Persephone112993" below.
I'm gonna refrain from starting a discussion about what the Bible says about things, (I'm asuming u are a christian)
Once again - Peace.

quran 4:34 says:
[The men have authority above Women as allah has preferred some more than others because they spend out of their moneys the good women are therefore obedient guarding the unseen as allah has guarded & those part you fear desertion admonish them & leave them alone in their beds & BEAT THEM then if they obey you do not seek a way against them surely allah is high great]

most translations say to "beat her (lightly)" So how does a man seperate with her "lightly"?
persephone112993 1 year ago
There is no "lightly" in this verse. It has been added as a clarification to the word "beat" which most translations are using. However, the word "beat" is also inaccurate. This is the point I am trying to make with this video.
