He's talking about the hope that Obama brought to this country and the good things that can happen from it. He is not political in any way. He painted that Obama piece as a sign of hope for a doomed race.

obama just doesn't fit into a "mystic visionary realm." life has a value, so when you are head of the largest, most violent military in the world you are no longer a peaceful person with values that promote universal well-being. that just cannot be argued. alex grey has lost the plot. yet another optimistic person who has been duped by believing in politics. if he truly was a visionary he would be thinking outside the box.
