OMG, you sounds like a typical brainwashed westerner... Please stop imagining that you understand China and Chinese government more than Chinese people.
To tell you the truth, there are many Chinese students/scholars abroad, and they could get information from both side (China and western world), they would still tell you that your opinion about China are full of bias and prejudice. Unfortunately I'm one of them.

People were mad because Wen said only 12 million jobless; but just the day before Chen Xiwen said 26 million+ jobless.
So I think ppl are not in the mood for "sweet talk," they want the facts, otherwise we won't know how to properly correct this very serious economic situation.
