I've been wanting one of these for years. I remember reading about it being available on playstation store online back around 2002. I finally found one on ebay and actually won it. Everything is sealed except the keyboard. Now I don't know if I should open it and try to use it or just leave it sealed.

  • can you use your own usb keyboard and mouse or do you have to get official one?

  • @mikr0bas That's a good question. I would think any would work since they are just usb devices but with sony who knows.

  • Can you tell this:

Is there one or two dvd discs inside?

I know that Linux kit beta consisted of only one dvd disc, and how in your case?

  • @FunLinux I'm not sure, I never opened it but I"m thinking 1 for some reason.

  • How much was it?

  • @bbrryyaann1993 $99 plus shipping.

  • @lagorta Hi, I come back to you if you did get a response and if you did not, were you okay for me to buy your VGA cable from the Linux Kit. Cheers.

  • @mb1046 Alright I would be glad to discuss it later. Cheers.

  • @lagorta I would rather not break it up, but if I don't get a response, we can discuss it later.

  • @mb1046 Hi I'm interested in the VGA cable. Would it be possible to sell it separately for me ? Cheers.

  • I've got a kit for sale. If interested, please reply to this comment. and we'll get in touch.

  • wow talk about rare. I'm jealous.

  • I remember these things, I had modded my ps2 put in a mod chip, installed my own hard drive and a modded version of linux i had to install on the hard drive first then move it to the ps2, then i had a working mod chipped ps2, with linux if i wanted then about a month later i realized sony actually made a linux kit that was 100 times simpler. but ah well, it was fun, especially since i bought the ps2 from pawn shop for 20 bucks

  • You sound like a hick!!!
