Very nostalgic. I owned the car for a few years and traded it in for a "proper" 8 litre tourer. However I miss the raw sensation of driving "DK" otherwise known as the "Hawkeye" car.

Glad to hear from you! It is always interesting to hear history of this fabulous car. We drove the car in the Copperstate 1000 Road Rally starting in Phoenix in 2007. It's also been shown at a few shows in Southern California, and it has won numerous awards. Also it made an appearance at Monterey historics also in 2007.

This is a 3 litre Bentley with an 8 litre engine - not a true example of the original 100 8 litres made in 1930/31. Very nice all the same!

That's very interesting. This car was purchased in England about 5 years ago. It has an extensice vintage racing history at Silverstone and was run at the historic classics in Monterey in 2007. It's also participated in the Copperstate 1000.
