In this video, Streebo recalls MVP's trip to the Fright Night Film Fest 2010 to meet Roger Corman. Our wildest dreams came true as we were able to watch Deathrace 2000 with Roger Corman as well as talk to him at the cocktail party before the awards ceremony honoring Roger Corman. MVP had a great time at Fright Night Film Fest - but don't we always have a great time. Yep. That's how we roll.

  • @coughcool3 Thanks for the kind words. I was deifnitely surprised - but I shouldn't have been. For some reason I always figured Corman kept up with the big blockbusters at least - but it's obvious that he doesn't and never really needed to as long as he had someone else doing the work for him. I just finished his biography and it states he was losing his love affair with movies by the Eighties. He sold New World and started Concorde but never oversaw the movies he produced as close as before.

  • @MADPUPPETDETH Yeah - how weird is that? I always imagined he had seen the movie and then figured he should exploit it's popularity. Realizing that he hadn't even seen the original Friday the 13th made me realize why so many of the movies he produced in the Eighties weren't good for much beyond entertaining sleaze and trash. Corman who at one time had his finger on the pulse of the youth - was long out of touch. His unofficial biography states about as much. Thanks for watching.

  • Good stories on Corman. For some reason that doesn't surprise me that Corman hasn't seen Friday the 13th.

  • Corman never saw F13th!?! That's a great trivia piece right there man!
