A tribute to Purple Heart recipient Rory Dunn a.k.a. "Ironman". A neighbor friend of ours who survived an IED attack in IRAQ during an escort detail in May of 2004. After nearly 2 years of rehab he was awarded his Purple Heart at a ceremony held at Liberty High School in Renton WA.
This tribute video was played at the ceremony.
There is a tribute within the show to James Lambert whom Rory credits with
saving his life that day.
The ceremony was attend by Senator Patty Murray, Rosemary Lambert, Marine Sgt. Brian Lambert (James Lambert's Mother and Brother) and members of the 10th Mountain Division.
