Hippie-Hill Drum Circle 2007 - I

Hi this is Glen the guy messing around with the guitar in the drum circle. This was filmed by Tim aka Lonewolf, at Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park of San Francisco early 2007. What a great video job!!! Tim's got some skills with the camera! He's so sly we barely knew he was filming!! This drum circle has been going since San Francisco's Summer of Love in '67 which happened here in Golden Gate Park. Come check out the drum circle, especially on weekends, it's like some kind of magic is still happening here! Hippie Hill is a short walk inside the east end of Golden Gate Park near Haight Ashbury.

But that is soo much more than a "drum" circle.

IMHO the whole drumcircle concept can be used to bring all kinds of instruments, musicians, spirits and their respective cultures togethor.

All a drumcircle really is is the general term for an ad lib style of musical, cultural, and spiritual exchange, like the one shown in this vid.

Peace and luv to all the musicians and to the fine soul who taped them so that soo many others, who weren't there, could see and hear this beautiful moment.

hi i live in washington dc and we have very nice drumms circle here i play there every Sunday .

the things is me my congas and my car gonna move to San Francisco in October

i don't know no vary i never been in San Francisco but i gonna try to find a job just is my dreams lets see if me and my 2 ,25 cents in my pocket

bro when your heart feel you have to go you have to do it !

and soon i gonna play in San Francisco!!!!!!
