  • I absolutely hate the song choice. But the dance is so superlative, I totally forgive it. And if Yulia was telling the truth that 80% of their dances are improvised, I'm even more in awe of this couple. Bravo, bravo, bravo.

  • @semelecharter If it was improvised, It wouldn't look the same every time they dance it...woudn/t it?

  • she looks like Catherine Heigl! :D amazing performance! :)

  • They could be a couple...They are hot and They look awsome together...:X::X

  • Demais!

  • @kcballroom: This is a show dance. What Yulia said at the 2011 world Latin championship, "in competition" 80% is improv. Show dances, I agree, are not improv but even these does not look the same every time they dance it, there are differences, most are small but some are big.

  • @semelecharter Their competition routines are 80% improv, their show routines are probably choreographed through. The point of improvising in competition is, as I understand it, to better connect with the music. In their shows, the music is set by them, so they can choreograph to match the music with no need for improv.

  • @ProDancer6 Yes they are couple in real life

  • @kcballroom - Yulia didn't say it was 100% improvised. She said it was 80% improvised. I teach improvisation, so I can make the educated guess that they give themselves certain markers or goals - places to hit, certain moves to do, over the course of the dance, then improvise their way from one marker to the next. Not a difficult concept to grasp, nor terribly uncommon in the larger world of performance. They're just absolutely superb at it.

  • I'm rewatching my fav rumbas right now.... and I feel... rumbatized <3 :)
