  • You misspelled his first name in the title. I can't believe nobody has pointed this out in two months. I am a professional proofreader, which is how I see these things.

  • Thank you very much! Appreciate it!

  • truecrypt, thank you so much for uploading such rare recordings!

especially those of Sofronitsky (which is my favorite pianist)

  • Didi madloba, Lia!

  • @BachScholar wow ! so much shrewdness !

  • I understand why Richter called him a gold... what a fantastic sensibility !

  • Does anyone know the year of this wonderful recording?

  • MARAVILLOSO. No tengo otras palabras ni me queda ingenio para expresar lo que siente mi corazón. Sofronitsky, dónde estuviste todo este tiempo? Gracias. Gracias, Rubinstein, gracias, Sofronitsky, gracias Horowitz, gracias, Truecrypt, gracias, mil gracias, Chopin.

  • @pjioayncoe which is...?

  • Absolutely breathtaking performance....

  • magnifico...tragica nobiltà...

  • One word : genius. Notwithstanding the quality of the recording one thing is absolutely incredible: the usage of the pedal in the doppio movimento....

The way in which Sofronitsky expresses the tragedy of this piece left me breathless.

    Thank you for posting

  • Excellent version. Thanks for uploading it!

  • Thanks for this. The first part is magnificent and the doppio movimento begins in a very interesting way. I don't really like the end, rubato, dynamics, too dotted rhythm make it a bit heavy, but it is a very good rendition nonetheless. Thanks again.
