Loading up my Suzuki V-strom DL650aK9 in preparation for a riding trip. Base supplies, tools, and other necessities to be packed into my Kappa 40L side cases, Kappa 44L top case and stuff stuffed under the seat which includes small air compressor, tire plugs (worms and mushroom types), co2 cartridges, wrenches and other small stuff

  • Every one of those items is completely unnecessary. That is, until you need them. And more often than not, it's someone else who needs something. And they are usually one of those who claims that we are overboard in our preparation.

  • You might want to visit a counselor.

  • OMG talk about overkill! Do you plan on rebuilding the bike on the road? lol How often do you think you need to use an air compressor as well as Co2 cartridges? If i was an insurance salesman i would be visiting you first! Paranoid much?

  • Can you show me up close how did you hang that pvc pipe to your bike, I have the same bike with the hard cases and everything and would like to add the pipe too.

    Good video.

  • Wild!

Good thinking on your packing list...

Love all the background sounds and the way you incorporate gravity!

    Keep the rubber side down!

  • Great vids Bob

  • I don't think the Air Compressor is overkill - the socks .. maybe but - but,I have been in that situattion where I'm in the middle of nowhere and have a flat - Thats why I carry a Craftsman 19.2 rechargable air compressor w/ extra batteries.

  • Excellent video. Bit of an overkill with some of the stuff you've brought though. e.g. Air Compressor.

What size are those side panniers? They look very good.

  • Damn that's a lot of stuff :) Great bike / setup tho!
