Oh wow, that kind of experience is out of this world! I'm guessing the teacher is using a VHF uplink via HAM radio, or some kind of web-based relay. I have had the pleasure of hearing some ISS transmissions on my rig. Fortunate kids, I hope they appreciate this and count their lucky stars.
