This one is 1000 times better than the original. This clip, is one of the favorite musical peices ive ever heard...it reminds me of my grandmother who passed away who was one of my greatest friends since i was born. I get this magical feeling like she´s in the room or that i can feel her presence everytime i hear this. Much love to her.

Just lovely. Carl Weathers can emote, powerfully and subtly. He is talented in the vein of the late Bobby Short. I wish there were a full length cut of this song by Mr. Weathers to buy. Very nice, Mr. Weathers.

Carl's the man, and I felt sorry when he died in Rocky IV. The Carpenters can't compare to this version though.

Why the hell didn't they think to just have him cover the whole song & make a music video saved for after the credits (on the tape)/ deleted scene......All they'd have to to is have him keep singing & make a montague of all the greatest moments of the movie.

Thank you for posting this! This was in all fairness the single GREATEST scene in this movie and it's even more of a shame that he never made a cover song...
