The German Championships Triplette 2009 were held in Kassel, in the park outside the Orangerie, a famous palace built in 1710 as a summer residence for the landgraves.
The match North Rhine Westphalia 4 vs. Berlin 2 took place in the round of the last 16. NRW 4 were last years runners up and included Marcel Kunz, Shemsedin Berisha and Alexander Streise, all from Ibbenbüren. Berlin 1 was composed of Kreuzberg players Zeki Engin and Mahmut Tufan. They were joined by former champion Martin Kuball, from Osterholz.
Added music is by Yann Tiersen (Déjà Loin) and by Ladytron (Black Cat).
