@reeseman67 The 83 is also polygonal with chromed barrels. As far as I know, the only significant difference in the 82 and the 83 is the markets that they were aimed at and that the 83 was never chambered in 9mm Mak.

@Mosin54r OH YEAH THEY ARE!!!! My CZ-82 is INSANELY ACCURATE, especially for an eastern-bloc pistol!! I think the polygonal rifling (also chrome lined) helps out on that A LOT!(do the civilian CZ-83's have button rifling, or do they also have polygonal rifling? CZ's RULE!!

CZ handguns are usually budget oriented but they have one thing going for them that I find other brands lacking, majority of models produced by cz in various ammo's have a knack for being hell reliable. FTE, FTF are things common with brands such as S&W, Taurus but for the price CZ reliability is unparalleled. I like how the shell is ejected far away from the shooter gives a person lots of confidence right there.
