Megaupload hackers lash back

http://www.euronews.net/ One side calls it stealing - users call it sharing. Content-sharing website Megaupload.com is not fighting its battles alone.
Within minutes of its shutdown by the US authorities on Thursday, over questions of copyright infringement, hackers had jammed the websites of the FBI, the Justice Department and Universal Music. The online collective known as Anonymous said they did it, and will strike again.

Fuck this is retarded, it should be my own right to share my own files as backup! Fucking obama!
It's not the same as stealing DVDs from Walmart or something, and the feds still probably don't get it... This still isn't going to prevent piracy or file sharing, ppl can still use private trackers to download via P2P.
Why not just leave the file sharing sites alone? @ least they don't promote piracy..

I can handle megaupload's death as you can find most of what you need on filestube. But losing BTJunkie is too much to bear. Now I have to put up with KickassTorrents. Funny thing is though, I bet any money that there is NOT ONE human on the face of the earth that said: "oh well, now that they shut down megaupload, I guess I'll just have to go and spend money on CDs and DVDs." You just download the same files from Mediafire or 4shared. Not to mention genre-specific sites like GOG or SceneSource.
