I think the high pitched noise was advance notice for the water pump failing.

  • The squealing was the water pump bearing which died, I got a new bearing but the water seals don't work now and water pours out the pump. I'm going to buy an electric pump and be done with it.

  • Wow talk about a steal!!

  • @jedon13

I bought my SR1(running) with 472hr's on the clock for $10 from work for "scrap" lol!

  • Yes that's an SR2, have about 350 hours on it now powering our house until I get the 6/1 fully functioning. It has been a very good engine, just start it up and walk away and it self bleeds when I run it out of fuel, very nice!

  • Hey Jedon glad to hear you got the rad working.

Is that a Lister SR2? I have an SR1 VERY good engine!
