I saw Darlene at an out door concert in Minneapolis around 1997. I sang along with her and she was surprised that I knew the songs. I had just finished reading her autobiography. An amazing story.

Saw her about 17-18 years ago at the Bottom Line in NY. Small nightclub setting. She was awesome. She also re-recorded her hits around that time on vinyl. Wish they would release it on CD. Her voice was much more mature and the songs were a lot more up tempo.

I have an LP she did in 1985. She did a number of her old songs Live at Hop Singh's in Marina Del Ray, California. Don't know if this is the LP you mean. When I get time, I will convert that to mp3 and upload them to YouTube, if they are not already out there somewhere.

You're welcome. What a voice, huh? I saw her on Broadway in the production of "Leader of the Pack" a number of years ago --- just great! Hope you also found my other posting of her, as I mentioned under the comment below.
