The potential for ecological damage with the BP Deepwater Horizon oil distaster is likely greater than anything ever seen in the Gulf of Mexico.

  • Terribly sad that our glutonous use of precious oil has come to despoiling the sea. No talks of cutting back right now on our traveling by road and air, or turning off a light or two, or staying still on Sundays. About 22 million barrels of oil a day are used by the U.S.,A., 9 million of which are turned into gasoline. We are using 3x more than we should, since we only produce 6 million barrels a day. Conservation, and term limits - NOW ALREADY!

  • Makes me so damn mad! People were more interested back when gas prices went up than about the disaster in the gulf. Most people just dont care. We can let the world die but lord forbid any damage to our imaginary ego's.
