Someone asked me a while back to "explain the chair". I am both a medium (I accreddit Church of the Rose for my "training", so to speak) and I spent my youth working in theater, film and t.v.. And this is very amusing, but I am afraid it is absurdly easy to falsify these things. If the involved party want SPECIFICS, on how the special effect "ghost chair" is done, send me a private message and I would be happy to inform you. :) Lazy.
There's no way the Warrens could've faked this without the help of the family. Especially with the part where the chair kept moving with the girl in it and the mother behind it. So if it is a hoax, it involved many people, none of which have come forward to admit that it's a hoax. I have to say this is at least somewhat puzzling. I wish they had used more camera angles.
You got spammed anyways and that is rude! I tried to unspam you and I am going to check your page out! I also gave you a thumbs up to counter act the person that gave you a thumbs down!!!!!
The Marquise du Deffand, when asked in the eighteenth century whether she believed in ghosts. (1697- 23 September 1780). was a French hostess and patron of the arts.

There are several plausible motivations...money/fame and religious "proof seeking" motivations are the most likely.
Don't expect anyone to come forward and admit to the fraud though. They don't have any reason to do so, and every reason not to, at this point.
I already explained what it would take to prove this phenomenon, read all the previous posts.
