In recent elections voting machines have come under scrutiny for their security and voters' ability to cast their votes as intended. Paul Herrnson, who headed a major research project to test voting technology, is the Director of the Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC). He contends that the new machines are the way to vote.

  • Nice. Now, how does one verify that the count is correct? Is there a hardcopy to document the vote count. Is this hardcopy accessable to the public? If you answer is no to any of these criteria, your system is a joke. And you know that.

  • good to know if our voting is verifiable

  • "Are voting machines safe"?

    NO!

Anything other than paper and pen can be changed without anyone ever knowing. Anything online can be hacked. Nothing is safe.

  • the pen is mightier than the sword or

the screwdriver is mighter than the pen

    democracy is bic or craftsman?

  • The idea of smuggling in a video camera to a polling place for PBS is embarrassing.

  • Voting machines can cause symptoms of anger and depression - especially this election between a wealth-redistributing socialist and a guy who seems to be purposely throwing the election.

  • I want to make sure that all 12 of my Obama votes are counted accurately for this November. Thanks for your confidence in the new machines. Can't wait to use them a dozen times.

  • 1:52 "not everyone can hack a computer" - are you kidding me???? just need ONE person to hack it

2:35 "people would spill water on them" - what kind of crappy security do you have that you let people bring water to where the ballots are stored???

2:58 if computer scientists oppose using computers to count votes it's because they know the risks. i think they know more about computer systems than this guy

so easy to have a corrupt administrator simply change a number, untraceable

  • are you kidding me??With BO Acorn indorsed illegal scam of voter regestering what differeence will it make? The dirty dems can't stand doing things legally. where's the fair reporting? If it was BO they would have had footage to show on every news station, he's such a whiner, can't stand him.....We no longer live in a democratic society people, and you can thank the media for that, and the liberals and ACLU. We will be the next Russia/USA

  • whats the point when democrats are sighning up illegal aliens and mexicans to vote 100 times

who cares if the stupid voting machine works
