@fleXTheConsoleGuy Are you asking me why dont i use SwapMagic instead of FMCB? When this video was made (mid-08) FMCB was like in beta more or less alpha stages. I was using Swap Magic as a Table of Contents disc (like using a big DVD game like Primal) to boot the CD. I personally just stick to HDL and now since mass improvements over a course of a year+ Open PS2 Loader.

i dont get it? i thought the whole idea of using free mcboot was that u would no longer require the use of swap magic. this would work with coder without free mcboot so whats the point of this vid?

@prectec FreeMcBoot takes care of mostly lauching ELFs and whatnot....im showing this because you can like you said dont have to use SM anymore or for ppl that dont own a copy of SM, showing its still possible of playing standard backups through FMCB. This is also perfect for ppl that have the slim and cant do the old independent exploit for phatty ps2s.

@spedknot Yes you can copy and paste the files to the MC from a USB Stick using uLanuchELFs File Manager or if you have limted space on the MC just run the apps on the USB stick itself.

@X3CuT1oNR thanks man, huge help. only cd game i really want to get working is zombie hunters and marvel vs. capcom 2. would i put the apps on the apps folder on the memory card? how would i copy them?

@spedknot if want more apps just copy them to a usb stick and run or copy them to your PS2 MC. The ESR Ps2 Patching with CD games you cant do UNLESS you convert them to DVD then you can patch them. P S X - S C E N E (google it) has a guide on the fourms on how convert CD to DVD games for ESR.

i have free mcboot installed, i have the noobie package. i want to know how to install new apps to it, i want to install cogswap since i can't esr patch cd ps2 games. how to you do it? thanks! ^.^
